Activities and places of interest

Ric runs "Sealife" a Glass Bottom Boat based in Gairloch, approximately 10 miles away from Inverasdale. He is a qualified Royal Yachting Association Instructor in Yachting, Dinghy Sailing Coach and Powerboat Trainer.

"Sealife" is a converted ships lifeboat. It has two large glass panels in the bottom of the boat with individual viewing ports for you to look down and see the fantastic variety of life below the sea surface. You can also enjoy the scenery, the wildlife on the loch which is a joy to watch. On Loch Gairloch you'll see seals, a myriad of sea birds, plus occassionally you might spot porpoises, dolphins and otters as well.

Please contact us or visit "Sealife"for further information on courses and prices.
When planning your holiday, if you wish to pre-book and activity please do so, however boating, where ever you are in the world is weather dependent and you might have to change your plans during your stay.

Walking

For the walkers, some of Scotland’s highest mountains are within easy reach, so are some beautiful low level rambles. Whatever your interest the area can cater for you. There are several local guides who will take you on walks and tell you much of the history and background to the mountains. Much of the area is too steep and rocky for serious off road mountain bikers however a bike is useful for getting to the start of some of the walks plus trips on small single track tarmac roads are a joy.

Some of the other activities/ attractions available locally are:
